CHAPTER 1 “You could have rolled your eyes, told me to go to hell. Could have walked away, but you’re still here, and I’m still here. Come on, let’s see where it goes. I don’t wanna steal your freedom, I don’t wanna change your mind. I don’t have to make you love me. I just wanna take your time.” Lyrics “Take Your Time by Sam Hunt

The room has been transformed into an eerie womb of decadence and debauchery. The bodies that fill the space fall mostly within two categories: elegant or beautiful, or if they were lucky both. It is almost surreal with hints of the macabre and elements of elegance. Everyone and everything is swathed in black and gold standing on a fine line between getting spooked and seduced with the atmosphere.

Elsie is leaning against the wall while the bass pumps through her small body, the beat so intense you can almost see her breasts jiggling inside the vinyl black ‘Cat Woman’ bodysuit she’s wearing. She knows she looks pretty damn hot and by the looks she’s been getting, so do others. The Halloween party at the Wilmington Hilton Riverside, that UE Movie Studios was throwing tonight is a huge success. Anybody that’s somebody is here including her best friend Elizabeth’s boyfriend, Marco Kastanopoulis, apparently he’s the newest “It Boy” in town. The poor guy is stuck working tonight, talking to all of the boring old stiff-shirts. Apparently being somewhat famous is not all it’s cracked up to be. For the moment he’s managed to break away from his watchdog, She-Devil Liana, and his sidekick, a Pretty Boy, to get some much needed alone time with Elizabeth. Which is why Elsie is suddenly alone.

Leaning up against the wall with one foot propped up, Elsie strikes an exact replica of the famous Cat Woman pose. Out of the corner of her eye, Elsie sees John Wolfe walking towards her. He should have been named John Bear, the man is huge and formidable at first glance. She turns into a blithering oozing pile of female hormones every time he comes within a hundred feet of her. Tonight he’s shirtless, his long midnight black hair loose and grazing those massive shoulders, and just the sight of him was completely killing her. The muscles in the delicious torso of his ripple with every move he makes. He’s dressed in Indian style fringe pants and moccasins, with a leather band tied around one of his bulging biceps. On his other arm is a tribal tattoo, which covers his shoulder and comes mid-way down the upper part of his arm ending in a band with symbolic designs running through it. The tattoo also continues down to his shoulder blade onto his back leading to a breathtaking image of a bear. On his upper chest is a tattoo with a pair of wings surrounding the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a star graces his other shoulder. The man doesn’t walk, he stalks, everything about him screams predator and he exudes an I’m-gonna-take-whatever-I-want-so-get-ready kind of arrogance. The very thought of it makes Elsie’s drool. How she would love to be his prey, hunted and stalked by him until he took her, devouring her, leaving her completely breathless. Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she realized the outfit she’s wearing doesn’t leave room for any unnecessary moisture.

A glance in the other direction alerts her that Brian Daniels is headed her way as well. Brian’s dressed in his military camouflage pants and his government-issued green tee shirt that fits like his own skin. The perfection of his long and lean physique is well-defined underneath the cotton fabric. He falls at the other end of the spectrum from John’s dark intensity. Brian is a drop-dead good looking blonde with blue eyes and a disarmingly sweet smile, all packaged in six feet laid back elegance and male perfection. He radiates relaxed confidence as if it were as much a natural part of him as the color of his eyes and the sound of his voice. Those two men together could be lethal and she knows she’s in trouble, the simple act of speech will be nearly impossible with them both.

“Hi Elsie,” John’s deep, melted-caramel, voice envelopes Elsie, making her temperature rise and her heart race.

“Hi John,” is all she can manage, which is out of character for Elsie, whose tongue is always razor sharp and ready to shred at a moment’s notice.

“All alone?” Brian comes up on her other side and her pulse sky rockets even more.

“Yeah, um, Marco came over and pulled Elizabeth away from the dance floor for a little while, I think he was lonely stuck with his sidekicks all night long,” she lifts her chin in the direction where the couple is standing.

“Well, Elsie, we’ve made it our mission to make sure you’re ok,” John takes another step closer to Elsie, he’s now on the verge of being intimately close. His voice is commanding, stroking her and pulling her towards him.

“Oh?” is all she can intelligibly say, his body heat and he-man delicious scent is fogging her brain with erotic images and she doesn’t trust herself not to say anything for fear that it might come out sounding like a whimpering plea, ‘Yes, please push me up against the wall and rip my clothes off. Do all those things your body screams it can do.’

“And our missions are always completed with the utmost satisfaction, Elsie,” Brian takes a step closer as well, his panty melting smile working its magic on her, making her squirm from the pulsing deep in her core. Where John is smoldering, Brian is cool perfection and an air of seduction instantly wraps her in its embrace.

“You don’t mind if we make you our mission, do you Elsie?”

Brian’s voice licks her with fire, igniting her, as images of both of them taking her, and getting lost in oblivion fills her mind.
She’s instantly ready to cum at the mere thought of both of their mouths, hands, and cocks all over her body. She gasps, fighting the urge to lean her face against John’s bare chest and lick him from where that happy trail is peeking out of his pants. She wants to lick her way up, dipping her tongue into his belly button and listening as his breath catches from the wet touch, before finally taking those tight little nipples of his between her lips.

Elsie’s eyes lift to look into both of theirs, her mouth growing hungry from her thoughts. The promise of erotic delights beyond her most intimate imagination are being offered to her without words, without a touch, without so much as a whisper, but they couldn’t be any clearer. It’s all there in the heat of their eyes, in the seductive curve of their lips, and in the flexing of their muscles as they fight to maintain control. And there is no way she can resist. She is so screwed.

“Wha… what kind of mission?” she quietly stammers, her eyes wide and her mouth dry.

John leans one arm against the wall above her head, his 6’6” body towers over her 5’ 3” frame, and confidently states, “Elsie, you sweet little angel, exactly the kind of mission that you’re thinking of.”

John is very careful not to let what he is really feeling, what he’s thinking, show on his face. He’d been trained to not let any emotions show, if he wasn’t so good at the disguise, he would have been killed a long time ago, while he was deployed. Worse yet, he’d most likely have been brutally tortured and kept just on the brink of being alive before sweet death would have released him from his torment. John’s a marine, one of the best, and emotions don’t exist in his world. However, if anyone read his mind at this very moment it would have been clear, that Elsie melted him despite the well-controlled stoic façade he’d so perfectly mastered. John had a nagging premonition; if he succumbs to his intense attraction for this intoxicating, petite, pixie, it will destroy him. He can’t resist her any longer, so he will have her, indulge in the sweetness that she promises, and in so doing he will give her more pleasure than she’s ever known before. But he must do it in a safe place, a place where he won’t lose himself. He’ll do it with Brian, just like so many times before, when they’ve taken a woman to a place of sensual oblivion together. He’s desperate to give this gift to Elsie, more than he’s ever wanted to do anything, for anyone, in a very long time. She has a kind of hidden sadness in her ethereal face, a sadness that is well-disguised amongst the smiles and bad-ass words. It’s so deeply buried yet matches his own in a way that calls to him like a song that only their hearts and souls can hear.

Oh God, yes, please take me, Elsie resists the urge to plead as a sigh escapes her and her eyelids flutter with John’s words. Her head tilts back as her body instinctively feels the pull towards his.

“Will you come with us, and let us take care of you, Elsie?” Brian’s voice softly caresses her, intoxicating her with the promise of untold pleasure.

But those old demons, the ones Elsie had thought were locked up tight came sneaking in whispering the doubts that always paralyzed her, What if he sees the scars? You’re not beautiful, you’ll disgust him.

She immediately froze and she’s sure the two men could see the look of terror on her face.

  “I can’t,” Elsie croaks out.

John is mortified at the idea they’d frightened her. Brian looks on confused, as he did not expect this reaction. He was certain that he’d felt her attraction to them. She seemed especially drawn to John, and he would do anything for his friend, besides giving Elsie all the pleasure she could take would definitely not be a difficult task.

She starts to rush away but John stops her, putting his hand on her arm. Her eyes fly to his. She looks like a scared little kitten about to be eaten by a big bad grizzly bear.

“I’m sorry, Elsie, we didn’t mean to frighten you, we’d never do anything...,”

“No!” she stops him, “It’s not you. I’ve got to go,” she pulls her arm from his grasp although what she really wants to do is fall into him and let them take her away.

She practically runs to the other side of the room and heads straight for the bar. She needs a drink to calm her nerves and shut the damn demons up. They cripple her whenever she is finally ready to rid herself of her inhibitions and be free. They rear up and grab her by the ankles just as she’s ready to soar and then yank her back and slam her down in defeat.

“Give me a shot of Jägermeister,” she tells the bartender. Elsie grabs the drink and throws it back, before he even has a chance to set it on the bar.

“Another one,” she hisses out between clenched teeth and a burning throat.

Slamming down the empty shot glass on the bar top, she lets out a whooshing breath. “Now I can deal with it.” She squares her shoulders as she feels the liquid courage seeping through her extremities, warming her and numbing her, making her feel invincible. But mostly it quiets those horrible voices that have been tormenting her since she was in her teens.

“So we’re an ‘it’?” The panty-melting, husky, voice rumbles from behind her.

Spinning around she practically shouts at John, “Jesus, Mountain Man, don’t come sneaking up on a person. That’s an excellent way of getting punched in the face.”

A smirk lifts the corner of his sinfully sculpted lips.

“Mountain Man?” he asks quirking an eyebrow at the nickname, before he continues, “And do you really think your fist could get anywhere near my face before I grabbed you and brought the part of your body I really want closer to me, my little Elsie?”

John searches Elsie’s face. She is like a wild stallion begging for the one to come and break her, the one who can reign in that passion and play with it, guide it, direct it, make it grow until it explodes in to a raging inferno igniting the spirit in her that is waiting to be free. And he knows that someone is him.

Yes, please take me, make me scream! Her thoughts beg for what her body desires.

“Mountain Man because you’re as big as one,” she manages to say as images of John taking her begin to fill her head, and God, how she wants to climb every inch of him.

John leans his head in, provocatively close to her ear, so close Elsie can feel his warm breath licking her skin.

“You can call me Sir, little one, but only if you feel that I deserve it. And you will, my pet, I promise you that.”

Everything in Elsie’s body springs to life, it pulses and throbs, heats and oozes, and no amount of Jägermeister could stop her body’s response. She wants to throw herself at his feet, wrap herself around him, and give herself to him completely because she knows he deserves it and so much more.

Wide-eyed, she looks into his eyes as everything within her says yes, but her mouth says, “I can’t.”

His expression doesn’t change, the disappointment isn’t visible on his face. No emotions. The only movement is his eyes as they roam from Elsie’s gaze, shielded behind her black vinyl mask, across the porcelain skin of her face, then down to gaze at the valley peeking out between the mounds of her breasts, that place where he wants to bury his face. He knows she’s lying. Her arousal is screaming at him in the way her chest is rising and falling with each labored breath. Her desire is as obvious as the black vinyl suit she has on.

Oh how she hates herself, hates the fact that she’s a prisoner trapped in her own body. No matter how much she wants to break free, the shackles are just too strong.

“Maybe not tonight, sweet Elsie, but you will. And soon.” His voice is so low and husky, she knew her body would have vibrated from it if she’d have been just a little bit closer. The mere idea of it makes her breath catch in her throat.

Pulling back he raises himself to his full height and smiles down at her.

“So, you didn’t answer me, Brian and I are ‘its’?” His expression is on the borderline of mocking, the thought of them being called ‘its’ is hysterical to him. They’ve been called a lot of things: dangerous, lethal, insatiable, but never ‘its’.

  “No…
…yes……no. That’s not what I meant. And who gave you the right to eavesdrop on me anyway?”

“I did, Angel. We told you, you are our mission and everything that has to do with you, is our business now.”

She was shocked. Never before had Elsie been speechless but John Wolfe had succeeded in robbing her of her ability to speak. However the moment passed quickly. “No one has any rights over me, Mr. Wolfe, unless I give them. So you can take your male attitude and go play with somebody else.”

He laughs at her! He throws his head back and laughs a deep belly laugh that makes his whole body shake. She thoroughly enjoys watching the muscles under his tan skin roll with it. And she’s happy he’s laughing, because finally a man is not cowering at her demands and running scared. It’s about time she found a man that will stand up to her and demand she be a woman to his man. Not just any man…this man.

“Aw, Angel, I don’t mean to laugh. But tell me, Elsie,” and instantly his look becomes penetrating, “That this is not what you want. I don’t give a shit if you tell me you can’t. Tell me it’s not what you want. If you can honestly say that, I’ll leave and won’t bother you ever again.” He pauses looking into her eyes. “Never.”

  He waits.

“Tell me Elsie…,” it is almost a whisper, more like a dare, barely audible over the thumping music.

She can’t bring herself to say the words, because they would be a lie. And being his business, being anything to him, is exactly what she wants.

“Hi guys! Sorry I was gone for so long. Poor Marco is stuck over there and...”
